Team Crossroads • "Haiti" Missions Trip

We are so excited that you have expressed an interest in coming
to Haiti to see firsthand the work that Destiny Village is doing. 

The most exciting part about visitors coming to Haiti is that you will
have the opportunity not only to see what we are doing, but you will
get to be a part of what we are doing.

We hope you are just as excited about this trip as we are. I understand 

for many of you this will be your first time out of the country and you
may be a little nervous, too. I am not sure that there is any way to fully
prepare yourself for the poverty you will see, but we do know if you will
go with an open mind and an open heart that it won’t take long for you to
fall in love with Haiti and her people.

We encourage you to spend time in prayer asking God to prepare you

mentally, physically and spiritually for this trip. You probably have all
kinds of questions and hopefully this manual answers most of them.

In the event of bad weather, we will contact as many as people as possible to inform you, if there is a cancellation.

The Crossroads Church is using a service called “One Call Now” that will call you with a recorded message with any information. This information will be available on this web-site or by calling the Church Office at 937.890.0080.

Please be careful and use your discretion when travelling to church.

The weather plans are as follows:

Plan A   Service as scheduled
Plan B   Service will be moved to 2:00 p.m. (No Sunday School)
Plan C   Service is cancelled

We have moved our choir rehearsal to Wednesday evening
from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Open enrollment for the month of January.

A Study on the "Major Prophets" (New Adult Elective)

Prophets were regarded as direct spokesmen for God. They were seen to speak the words of God to the people of Israel. Their main role was to predict future events, and to call upon the public to repent and return to the true faith. The term “major” in this context means that the prophet’s message was preserved in a lengthy book and covered a wider variety of subjects than did the minor prophets. 


Join Jean Mineer  as she takes you into a study on "The Major Prophets."  Every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary.  This study is open to everyone.

A Study on 'The Book of Matthew'





A Study on the Book of Matthew (New Adult Elective) • With Matthew’s emphasis on the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies, his Gospel forms a natural bridge between the Old and New Testaments. While it is directed toward Jewish readers, it has never been limited in it’s audience.

From the visit of the Magi reported at the beginning of this Gospel to the words of the Great Commission at it’s conclusion, the large sphere and interests of the Messiah are clear. Throughout Matthew’s Gospel we learn that Jesus is indeed the promised Messiah, come to redeem His people.
